چکیده
Background and Purpose: Fungal infection by species of pathogenic Candida with antifungal resistance is currently a serious problem. Treatment new medications becoming more challenging to manage this type infection. The present study aimed investigate the effect essential oils (EOs) against itraconazole-resistant Candida. Materials Methods: Seven were tested on 15 clinical isolates from patients vulvovaginal candidiasis. action selected EOs was evaluated using disc diffusion method determination minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) effective EOs. Results: Radish EO most all MICs between 3.125% 6.25% (v/v) .It also had stronger than itraconazole. Six other showed effects at varying concentrations dependent upon isolate. Low these six many their high concentrations. Moreover, camphor linseed less isolates. Conclusion: has strong activity itraconazole-resistance Candida, even some can be increased through use low
